FELLOWSHIP OF SCHOLARS (May 29 – June 1, 2024)
The first international Fellowship of Scholars hosted by the Mount Angel Institute was held from May 29 through June 1, 2024 in St. Benedict, Oregon (USA). The focus on Trinitarian Ontology allowed for participants to experience first-hand the Trinitarian dynamic of thinking together in Christ. The dialogue was intentionally animated by an openness to the Holy Spirit in a constant effort to truly understand one another and appreciate the contributions made by each of the scholars present.
The Fellowship concluded with the decision to further explore Trinitarian Ontology by focusing the attention on topics specific to the Benedictine charism in the context of the Synodal Church, with a Workshop in 2025 (29 September – 3 October) dedicated to “Eucharist and Trinity as Source and Form of the Synodal Church”.
