The fourth volume of the Dynamic Dictionary of Trinitarian Ontology (DDOT-4), Città Nuova, 2023, offers the results of the research carried out from the perspective of relational thinking regarding this highly significant and extremely timely entry.

Nothing like the cry questions and challenges being: one’s own, that of others, that of the whole, and that of God. And if there is not, nor can there be, an existence that is not pierced to the heart by the cry, there are eras in which the cry reveals itself, in all its decisive tragedy, as the symbol of what most deeply wounds the flesh and spirit of man and mutely groans in all living beings that inhabit the earth.

The three “essays” then proposed articulate a trialogical look at the reality laid bare by the cry from the point of view of art, geopolitics, and theology: Massimo Donà, From an Unfathomable Abyss. The “Cry” of Art; Pasquale Ferrara, Polis, Globus, Cosmos. Critical Transitions in World Politics; Piero Coda, The Cry and the Threshold, or Access to the Land of Omoousia.
