Piero Coda

Piero Coda is an Italian theologian and Catholic priest, born in 1955. He is a prominent figure in contemporary theology, known for his commitment to ecumenical and interreligious dialogue, as well as for his contribution to Trinitarian theology and the understanding of the relationship between faith and culture.

He served as the president of the Sophia University Institute, founded by the Focolare Movement, of which he is one of the leading theological exponents. He is currently the Secretary General of the International Theological Commission, appointed by Pope Francis in 2021, and a member of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith.
